Well, as the title says, we finally got out on the water today! The weather was beautiful - bright sky, very little wind, with the temp pushing 60.
The marina channel markers were put in earlier this week, however the rest of the river which are done by the towns of Dennis and Yarmouth are still not in. There are a bunch stacked up at the Yarmouth town slips just south of the Bass River Bridge, so I would expect them to be going in soon.
Regardless, Bud and I decided to take the 232 Coastal out for a quick spin around 2 pm. She handled like a beauty, and we managed to stay in the deep water, even without the markers! Thanks Bud for the lesson! Hopefully we can get out again this week!
More and more boats continue to hit the slips each day, and the boating season is fast upon us!
Check back soon.

Hi Matt, I found your site through the main "FreedomBoatClub" site from a visit to Marina Bay this past weekend. I'm an avid sailer, but have been "high & dry" the last couple of years. My In-laws have a house on Bass River near the golf course and I spend a lot of time down there with my family. I've enjoy the opportunity to discover your program. Mike
